Dr. Günter Umbach is an international author, advisor, consultant and speaker who helps leaders strengthen their position, achieve better business results and succeed in the market place.
Dr. Umbach's knowledge as a board-certified physician combined with his experience in the research and generic pharmaceutical industries both as medical director and as marketing director help his clients win customers in the healthcare sector. Under his leadership a billion-euro cardiovascular brand reached the highest revenue and profit of its lifecycle.
His direct corporate clients include more than fifty pharmaceutical and medical device companies (many are Fortune Global 500 companies). Other clients include advertising agencies, clinical research organisations and communication firms in 14 countries.
Günter is a former research fellow at the University of Texas in Houston, a Senior Associate of Management Centre Europe in Brussels, a guest professor for healthcare communications at the University of Bilbao, and a visiting faculty member for the Master of Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University of Duisburg-Essen.
